Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision which occurred in Glengarry this afternoon.
Officers have been told three cars were involved in a collision at the intersection of Traralgon-Maffra Road and Farmers Road about 3.50pm.
A yet to be identified driver of one of the vehicles died at the scene.
In all, seven people were involved in the collision with a young child being taken to hospital by ambulance crews.
The exact cause is yet to be determined and detectives from Major Collision Investigation Unit will attend the scene.
