Police are investigating a fatal collision in Loch this afternoon.
It is understood a car driving on the South Gippsland Highway, left the roadway and crashed into a tree where it caught fire near the intersection of Loch-Poowong Road, about 2.20pm.
The driver, a male who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene
Investigators are working to establish the exact circumstances of the collision and investigations are ongoing.
