Northern Territory Police are on scene at a two vehicle crash, in which a man died, west of Alice Springs this afternoon.
Shortly after 1pm, police received a report of a serious crash involving a motorcycle and Landcruiser on Larapinta Drive, 10kms west of Flynns Grave.
The rider of the motorcycle, a man aged in his 40s, died at the scene.
Motorists are advised Larapinta Drive remains closed between Flynns Grave and the Simpsons Gap turn off, with traffic diverted via Ilparpa/Bullen Roads, while Major Crash detectives investigate the crash site.
