Police are investigating a fatal crash at Padthaway last night.
Emergency services rushed to Grubbed Road, Padthaway after receiving a report of a single vehicle crash just before 9pm on Sunday 7 August.
Country Fire Service crews were first on scene and immediately commenced CPR on the injured driver.
Paramedics quickly took over but sadly, the 41 -year-old Padthaway man could not be saved.
Major Crash investigators attended and examined the scene. Grubbed Road was closed overnight but has just reopened.
The local man's death is the 46th on South Australian roads so far this year. The road toll at the same time last year was 61.
