A man has died following a fatal crash at Port Augusta West last night.
Just after 6pm on Friday 26 February, police were called to Caroona Road following reports of a single car roll over.
The driver and sole occupant of the Ford Sedan, a 53-year-old man from the Port Augusta area, sadly died at the scene.
Major Crash Investigators flew to the scene from Adelaide to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Caroona Road was closed for several hours while police investigated but was reopened just after 1am.
The man's death is the 16th life lost on SA roads compared with 15 at the same time last year.
