Major Crash investigators are at the scene of a fatal crash in the State's south-east.
Just after 11.30am, Saturday 25 February, patrols and emergency crews were called to the Princes Highway, 500m south of Bowaka Road, after a Toyota utility was found in a drain off the highway.
The driver and sole occupant, a 32-year-old man from Reedy Creek, sadly died at the scene.
The Princes Highway is currently closed between Avenue Range Road and Koonetta Road.
The man's death is the 24th life lost on our roads this year as compared to 10 for this time last year.
