Police Are Responding To Fatal Crash - Attadale

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating an incident that occurred in Attadale today, Saturday 7 September 2024.

About 4:40am, a Holden Statesman driving east on Canning Highway, was seen to be driving at speed by police who were travelling in the opposite direction.

Police conducted a U-turn to execute a vehicle interception. However, the Statesman crashed, where it had collided with a tree in the median island.

The 23-year-old male driver of the Holden Statesman died from his injuries sustained at the scene.

Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene, with oversight from the Internal Affairs Unit, and are appealing for any witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
