A man, believed to be aged in his 50's, has died following a motorcycle crash in Bees Creek overnight.
Shortly before 7:00pm, the Joint Emergency Services Communications Centre received a report of the single vehicle crash on the Stuart Highway, near Gulnare Road.
Emergency services responded to the incident however, the man died at the scene.
Detective Senior Sergeant Brendan Lindner said: "A road closure and diversions were in place for several hours last night while Major Crash detectives recorded the crash scene.
"Detectives interviewed a witness to the crash. The investigation remains ongoing to confirm the identity of the deceased rider and determine the cause of the crash."
The road was reopened earlier this morning.
