Police are investigating following a fatal single vehicle crash on Finland Road in Bli Bli this afternoon (June 9).
Early information suggests shortly before 4pm the vehicle left the roadway and collided with a telegraph pole.
A 17-year-old boy, a passenger in the rear of the car, passed away at the scene and two other boys aged 17 and 15 were transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital for treatment.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash, or motorists with relevant dashcam vision, to contact them.
