Police Are Responding To Fatal Crash - Boree Creek

A man has died in a single-vehicle crash in the state's south.

About 9pm on Friday (7 March 2025) emergency services were called to Strontian Road, Boree Creek, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to Riverina Police District attended and found a ute had crashed into a tree.

One occupant – a man aged in his 30s – died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified.

A second occupant – a woman – was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Wagga Wagga Hospital for treatment and mandatory testing.

Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash, with the assistance of crash investigators.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
