Forensic Crash Unit are investigating after a man died in a crash at Burleigh Heads overnight.
Preliminary inquires indicate at 11.07pm the car was travelling west on Reedy Creek Road when the driver has lost control and hit a traffic light pole at the intersection with Scottsdale Drive.
The male driver, who was the sole occupant of the car, died at the scene.
Investigations are continuing.
