A man has died following a crash in the state's west.
About 5:30am today (Thursday 28 November 2024), emergency services were called to Evans Street, Cowra, following reports a vehicle hit a tree.
Officers attached to Chifley Police District attended however the man died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified and is believed to be aged in his 50's.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident has commenced.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
