Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Deanmill on Wednesday, 31 July 2024.
About 3:30pm, a grey Isuzu D-Max utility was travelling west on Graphite Road near Burnside Road when a large tree fell onto the vehicle.
The 78-year-old female driver of the vehicle and the 75-year-old male passenger died from their injuries at the scene.
Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for any witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at
