The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash at Elanora yesterday morning, July 18.
Around 5.45am emergency services were called to the intersection of Guineas Creek Road and K P McGrath Drive following reports a Toyota Hilux struck a pole.
The driver and sole occupant, a 56-year-old Tallebudgera man, passed away at the scene.
Any witnesses or anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact police.
Investigations remain ongoing.
