Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in Macarthur last night.
It is understood a car crashed into the embankment of a creek on Hamilton-Port Fairy Road about 6.30pm.
Officers believe the vehicle rolled into a dam and submerged in the water.
Search and Rescue divers located the male driver, who is yet to be formally identified, about 3am.
