A man has died following a crash in Annuello, in the state's north east, this morning.
It's believed the driver of a utility travelling west along the Annuello-Wemen Road lost control before crashing into a tree just before 7am.
The driver was thrown from the utility which rolled several times before finishing on its roof.
A truck driver came across the scene and stopped to render assistance however unfortunately the driver died at the scene.
SES and local police are conducting a line search of the area to determine if there were any passengers in the utility at the time of the crash.
The Annuello-Wemen Road remains closed between the Hattah-Robinvale Road and Collins Road and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
