Police are investigating a fatal crash in Piangil last night.
Emergency services were called to reports a car had crashed through a power pole, fence and a tree at the intersection of Murray Valley Highway and Mallee Highway about 9.30pm
The male driver, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing.
