Police Are Responding To Fatal Crash - Ingleburn 28 February

A man has died following a crash in Sydney's south-west.

About 9pm yesterday (Thursday 27 February 2025), emergency services were called to the Hume Motorway, Ingleburn, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to Campbelltown Police Area Command attended and found a motorbike and car had collided in the northbound lane, near Campbelltown Road exit.

The male motorbike rider died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be aged in his 50s.

The 27-year-old male driver of the car was uninjured and taken to Campbelltown Hospital for mandatory testing.

A crime scene was established and police, with the assistance of the Crash Investigation Unit, commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
