Lancelin Police are seeking information regarding a fatal motorcycle crash in the Lancelin sand dunes yesterday afternoon, Sunday 6 November 2022.
About 1:05pm a man was riding an orange and black KTM motorcycle at the sand dunes when it appears his motorcycle struck a rocky outcrop, causing the motorcycle to crash.
A friend of the man called St John WA and provided emergency first aid to him. Lancelin Police were nearby and a member of the public alerted them to the incident. The officers attended the crash scene, where they located the unresponsive man, and provided emergency first aid until St John WA personnel arrived.
Tragically, the 48-year-old man was unable to be revived and he died at the scene.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
