Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash which occurred in Mettler – in the great southern region near Wellstead – sometime between Wednesday 31 July 2024 and yesterday, Monday 5 August 2024.
At an unknown time between the above dates, a red Alfa Romeo sedan was travelling south on South Coast Highway, when it left the roadway and crashed into bushland.
The 37-year-old male driver died at the scene.
