Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash between a van and prime mover at Morwincha near Aratula this morning.
Preliminary information suggests both vehicles were travelling in opposite directions along the Cunningham Highway when they collided head on.
The driver of the van, an 80-year-old man, suffered significant injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The 51-year-old male driver of the prime mover suffered minor injuries and was transported to hospital for further treatment.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
