Police Are Responding To Fatal Crash Near Batemans Bay 12 February

A man has died in a crash in the state's south today.

About 1.50pm (Wednesday 12 February 2025) emergency services were called to Hector William Drive, Tuross Head, about 45km south of Batemans Bay, following reports a cyclist was found unresponsive.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man at the scene but he could not be revived.

While he is yet to be formally identified, he is believed to be aged in his 80s.

Officers attached to South Coast Police District established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstance surrounding the crash.

Initial inquiries suggest the cyclist crashed into a parked car.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
