Police are investigating following a fatal crash at Bookabie early this morning.
Just before 12.30am on Thursday 7 September, emergency services were called to Eyre Highway following reports of a crash involving two trucks.
The driver of one truck, a 30-year-old man from Clearview, sadly died at the scene.
The second driver, a 58-year-old man from Elizabeth Downs, suffered minor injuries and was taken to the local hospital.
Eyre Highway is closed to heavy vehicles but open to all other vehicles.
Major Crash investigators will be attending the scene this morning to determine the cause of the collision.
The man's death is the 79th live lost on South Australian roads this year compared to 52 at the same time last year.
