Major Crash Investigators are seeking information regarding a fatal crash in Wagin this morning, Sunday 30 August 2020.
About 10:50am a black and silver Yamaha motorcycle was being ridden west on Wagin-Dumbleyung Road, approximately 2km east of the Wagin townsite. It appears the rider failed to negotiate a right-hand bend in the road, causing the motorcycle to leave the road and strike a culvert.
The rider, a man aged in his 50s, was thrown from the motorcycle and died at the scene.
Major Crash Investigators would like to hear from anyone who has CCTV or dash camera vision of the motorcycle prior to the crash. Vision can be uploaded via this link:
