Major Crash Officers are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in the Wheatbelt area of Wamenusking yesterday, 15 July 2020.
At 1pm police were notified that a Toyota Echo had crashed on the Corrigin-Quairading Road, south of Horsley Road.
The investigation established that the Echo was travelling south on Corrigin-Quairading Road earlier in the day, when the driver failed to negotiate a left hand bend. The vehicle entered the eastern gravel shoulder before rolling, coming to rest in a paddock.
The driver and sole occupant, a 44 year old man from Aveley, died as a result of the injuries he received.
Investigators would like to speak to anyone that witnessed the crash or saw the Echo prior to the crash.
