A man has been arrested following a serious crash at Clearview late last night.
Just after 10pm on Monday 10 March, emergency services were called to Hampstead Road after reports a car collided with a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 62-year-old man from Clearview, suffered critical injuries and was taken to hospital where he is being treated.
Major Crash officers attended the scene to investigate the collision. The vehicle involved in the crash, a white Toyota Camry, was towed from the scene for forensic examination.
Following an investigation, the driver, a 24-year-old man from Northfield, was arrested and charged with causing serious harm by careless use of a vehicle. He was granted police bail to appear in Adeliade Magistrates Court on 2 May.
