Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a serious crash that occurred in Sawyers valley today, Wednesday, 3 May 2023.
About 1:45pm, a Grey Subaru Impreza travelling east on Great Eastern Highway near Old Northam Road and a Silver Mazda 3, also travelling east on Great Eastern Highway, were involved in a collision.
A 66-year-old male driver and 56-year-old female passenger of the Subaru were taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment to critical injuries received.
A 91-year-old male driver of the Mazda sustained minor injuries and was also taken to Royal Perth Hospital.
