Police Arrest Driver After Crash At Fulham Gardens

A man was arrested after allegedly crashing into a house and multiple cars at Fulham Gardens this morning.

Police and emergency services were called to Tapleys Hill Road, Fulham Gardens just after 10.30am on Friday 29 November by reports a black ute had crashed into a house.

Patrols attended and found that the black ute had crashed into a car at the traffic lights, then into a house, through fences and into other parked cars.

The driver had run off.

Police cordoned off the area and called in Police Dogs Jax and Edge and PolAir to assist.

About 11.15am, police received a call from a local resident reporting a suspicious person who appeared to be hiding in a vacant block in Mancheff Street, Fulham Gardens.

Patrols quickly responded and located the suspect.

The 30-year-old man was arrested and is expected to face numerous charges.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries, however, several damaged vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
