Police arrest five after assault at Norwood, South Australia

Five men have been arrested after a man was allegedly assaulted outside a licensed premises at Norwood last night.

Just after 7.30pm on Saturday 27 July, police patrols were called to a hotel on Sydenham Road following reports of a man being assaulted.

On arrival, a 26-year-old man from Lyndoch was treated for head injuries, before being taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a stable condition.

Detectives from Eastern Adelaide CIB investigating the matter arrested and charged five men aged between 25-28 years-old with affray.

All five arrested have been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 11 September.
