Four men have been arrested following an alleged assault in Sydney's Inner West tonight.
Shortly after 6.30pm today (Monday 2 December 2024), officers from Burwood Police Area Command were called to Peninsula Drive, Breakfast Point, following reports of an assault.
Police were told a number of people allegedly assaulted a 22-year-old man with a weapon before they fled on foot to Village Drive.
A short time later, as the group approached a silver Honda Accord, a 54-year-old man driving another car allegedly collided with the Honda Accord.
The group of people allegedly fled on foot and three men were arrested a short time later.
Two 18-year-old men and a 19-year-old man were taken to Burwood Police Station.
The 22-year-old man was assessed at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before he was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries to his head.
The 54-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Auburn Police Station.
Police have established a crime scene and inquiries continue into the whereabouts of any other individuals allegedly involved in the incident.
