A man has been arrested following the fatal stabbing of a woman in Bayswater this morning.
Emergency services were called to reports a woman had been stabbed at a Cousin Drive home about 11.15am.
On police arrival, a woman was located deceased inside the address and she is yet to be formally identified.
A 47-year-old Bayswater man was arrested a short time later at a neighbouring address.
Three teenage witnesses were at the scene at the time of the incident, with one receiving a minor injury.
Homicide Squad detectives will investigate the incident.
