A man has been arrested and interviewed following an alleged hit-run collision in Carrum this morning.
Police have been told two cyclists were riding south bound on Nepean Highway, between McLeod and Eel Race roads, when they were allegedly struck by a car from behind about 6.30am.
The car involved left the scene.
The cyclists, a 52-year-old man from Ormond and a 48-year-old man from Glen Waverley, were both injured and taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police were contacted by a member of the public in regard to the incident and the driver was subsequently located at an address in Dandenong around 5.30pm.
The 38-year-old Dandenong man has been interviewed and released pending summons and is expected to be charged with offences including reckless conduct endanger life.
