Mildura Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a man following a stabbing in Irymple this morning.
Emergency services were called to Fifteenth Street to reports a man was stabbed just before 7am on Tuesday, 8 March.
A 32-year-old Mildura man was located with critical injuries and taken to hospital.
He remains in a serious but stable condition.
Following an investigation, detectives arrested a 21-year-old Irymple man at his address.
Investigators also seized a knife, allegedly used in the incident.
The man is currently assisting police with their enquiries and the investigation remains ongoing.
