A man has been arrested following a stabbing in Sydney's south today.
Just after 7.05am today (Monday 4 March 2024), emergency services were called to an address on Warialda Street, Kogarah, following reports of a stabbing.
Officers attached to St George Police Area Command located a 50-year-old man with a laceration to his head.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition.
Police established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident.
Following inquiries, detectives arrested a 30-year-old man on Warialda Street, Kogarah, about 7.40am (Monday 4 March 2024).
He was taken to St George Police Station, where he is assisting police with their inquiries.
