A man has been arrested following the death of another man in Wangaratta this evening.
The male victim sustained a stab wound during an altercation at a Vincent Road address about 5.45pm.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the man died at the scene.
An 18-year-old man attended Wangaratta Police Station and was taken into custody shortly before 7.30pm.
The Wangaratta man remains in police custody and will be interviewed by Homicide Squad detectives.
