A man will face court after allegedly breaking into a house in Gilberton.
About 1:45pm this afternoon a resident of the Gilberton address, who was not home at the time, was alerted by a mobile phone app that someone was breaking into his house. The victim called police and was able to provide police with an accurate description as he watched the male entering his home.
The man was located in nearby Collinswood by police a short time later and arrested. A search of the man located most of the stolen property, including jewellery, an ipad, a mobile phone, a wallet and a satchel belonging to the victim.
The 49-year-old man from Gilberton has been charged with serious criminal trespass and theft will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow.
