Police have arrested three males after an extended follow in Ormond on Monday, 3 June.
Police were first called to reports of a suspicious loiter at a carpark on Katandra Road about 2.45pm.
Officers observed the males get into a Ford sedan and followed the vehicle to Keys Road in Highett, before the trio carjacked another vehicle.
With assistance from the Air Wing, officers followed the vehicle to Nepean Highway, before stop sicks were successfully deployed on McClelland Drive, Langwarrin.
The three males, aged 17, 17 and 24, were arrested at the scene.
