Police Arrest Three With Drugs And Weapons

A cache of drugs and a firearm has been located after a traffic stop at Parafield.

About 12.40am Friday 19 July Northern patrols spotted a Black BMW travelling along Kings Road before it pulled into a service station and stopped.

Police pulled into the service station and approached the car speaking to the female driver. The vigilant police officers then noticed what appeared to be illicit drugs inside the vehicle. Police had cause to search the BMW, inside they allegedly located an amount of methamphetamine and cocaine, 87 ice pipes, cash, a taser and a firearm.

The driver, a 21-year-old Elizabeth Vale woman, and two passengers, a 31-year-old man of NFPA and a 25-year-old NSW man were all placed under arrest.

They have all been charged with a number of serious offences including possess firearm without a licence, unregistered firearm, insecure firearm, traffic controlled drug, possess equipment, prohibited weapon, drive unlicenced.

Police conducted further enquiries at a Northen suburbs home this morning where they located a stolen vehicle. The vehicle has been seized and enquiries are on going.

They did not apply for bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today (Friday).
