Police arrest two after dumping stolen car at Elizabeth Grove, South Australia

Two men were arrested after a police pursuit with a stolen car in the northern suburbs this morning.

Police spotted a stolen grey Toyota RAV4 travelling on Kings Road, Parafield about 11.20am on Thursday 25 November. The vehicle was pursued for a short distance before PolAir was called in.

The stolen RAV4 was followed to Sampson Road, Elizabeth Grove where it was abandoned and the two occupants were seen to run into a nearby house in Twyford Street.

Patrols were quick to arrive at the house and take the two suspects into custody.

A 23-year-old man and a 28-year-old man were both arrested.

The RAV4 was stolen, along with a Volkwagen Amarok, registration XA421U, from a Prospect address overnight.

Investigations are continuing.
