Police have arrested two people after a car evaded officers in Tullamarine this morning.
Members noticed an allegedly stolen car driving erratically along Melrose Drive about 1.10am on 10 November.
They tried to intercept the car on the Western Ring Road but the vehicle sped off and police disengaged.
The car was then spotted by Highway Patrol Units heading along Sydney Road, Campbellfield.
Tyre deflation devices were successfully deployed on Hume Highway near Craigieburn Road and the car came to a stop.
Police arrested an 18-year-old man from Craigieburn and a 19-year-old woman from Mickleham.
Both are currently assisting police with their enquires.
