Police have arrested two men following a pursuit in Melton this morning.
Melton Crime Investigation Unit detectives spotted a Holden sedan, believed to be involved in a police ramming in Melton yesterday, travelling north along Exford Road about 10.50am.
Officers attempted to intercept the vehicle however the driver allegedly failed to stop.
Police deployed stop sticks on Barries Road in an attempt to stop the vehicle however the driver has again refused to stop.
Three police vehicles were used to box the offending vehicle in behind a shopping centre on Barries Road.
Officers arrested the driver, a 27-year-old Melton West man and his passenger, a 55-year-old Melton South man.
Both men sustained non life-threatening injuries and were conveyed to hospital where they remain under police guard.
Three police officers were injured during the arrest including a male First Constable who was conveyed to hospital in a non life-threatening condition.
A female First Constable and a female detective were treated at the scene for non life-threatening injuries.
Officers located drugs and a weapons while searching the vehicle.
