Two people were injured after being struck by a car at a hotel car park at Walkerville overnight.
Police and paramedics were called to North East Road, Walkerville just after 2am on Sunday 3 March after reports a car had driven into a group of people.
It will be alleged that a man and woman were having a domestic dispute at the hotel. Another man intervened and a scuffle ensued.
The couple then got into a black Hyundai sedan and allegedly drove at a group of up to 10 people in the car park.
A 20-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man were struck by the car. The man, who was the same person who tried to intervene earlier, then ran onto North East Road where he was struck by the car again. Both victims sustained suspected arm fractures and were taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.
The couple were arrested by police when they returned to the hotel.
The 28-year-old Peterhead man and the 23-year-old Fulham Gardens woman were charged with two counts of acts to endanger life. The man was also charged with driving while disqualified. They are expected to face the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow.
