Police Arrest Woman After Man Dies In Engadine

A woman has been arrested after a man died in Sydney's south this morning.

About 3am today (Friday 7 June 2024), emergency services were called to a unit complex on the Old Princes Highway, Engadine, following reports of a man was found unresponsive.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 36-year-old man; however, he died at the scene.

Officers attached to Sutherland Police Area Command arrested a 33-year-old woman who was taken to Sutherland Hospital for mandatory testing.

Upon her release from hospital, the woman was taken to Sutherland Police Station, where she is assisting police with their inquiries.

A crime scene has been established and police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Inquiries are ongoing.
