A woman has been arrested after assaulting a police officer in the city.
It will be alleged that just after 2.50am today (Tuesday 21 January) police were speaking with a woman in Hindley Street.
During the interaction the suspect spat at police.
The 20-year-old woman from Modbury North was arrested and charged with offensive language and assault police and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
