Police Arrest Woman After Police Operation

A woman has been arrested after a police operation in the Blue Mountains.

About 11.10am today (Tuesday 17 September 2024), officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command attended a home on Cascade Street, Wentworth Falls, to arrest a 36-year-old woman by virtue of an outstanding warrant.

The woman barricaded herself in her home before she was arrested about 4.25pm.

She was not injured and has been taken to Nepean Hospital for assessment where she remains under police guard.

Inquiries are ongoing.
