Police Attend Serious Crash at Springfield Lakes

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a serious e-scooter crash at Springfield Lakes last night, July 20.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 6.20pm, the e-scooter was travelling south along Parkland Drive when it crossed onto the opposite side of the road and struck a tree.

The rider, a 30-year-old Goodna man, was transported to the Princess Alexander Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are appealing to witnesses or anyone with relevant footage to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
