Police Charge Four After Stabbing, Brawl - Green Valley

Four people have been charged after police arrested seven people following an alleged stabbing and brawl in Green Valley this morning.

About 4.15am today (Monday 17 March 2025), emergency services were called to Taminga Road, Green Valley, following reports of a brawl.

Officers attached Liverpool City Police Area Command arrived to find a group of people allegedly fighting in the street.

Police separated the group, during which they located a 29-year-old man – allegedly wearing a balaclava – with a stab wound to his back.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital under police guard in a serious but stable condition.

Police arrested six people – before taking them to Liverpool Police Station.

Officers established a crime scene and detectives have launched an investigation into the incident.

Four people - three men aged 21, 26 and 27 – and a woman aged 32 – were each charged with affray. All four were granted conditional bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court on Monday 14 April 2025.

Two other people were released without charge.

A 29-year-old man remains in hospital after undergoing surgery for a stab wound to his back.

Investigations continue.
