Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following the death of another man in Melbourne's CBD earlier this month.
It is alleged that a 44-year-old Seddon man was struck to the head by another man, whilst walking on Elizabeth Street around 6.30pm on Wednesday, 9 October.
The Seddon man sustained significant head injuries and was conveyed to hospital in a critical condition, where he sadly died on 12 October.
A 33-year-old man of no fixed place of address was arrested earlier today at a boarding house in Moonee Ponds.
He has been charged with manslaughter and remanded to appear before Melbourne Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
