Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following a fatal collision in Glengarry on 26 February.
It is alleged a cyclist was struck by a car on Bassetts Road around 11am.
The cyclist, a 76-year-old Traralgon man, was airlifted to hospital but later died.
A 43-year-old Glengarry man has been charged with dangerous driving causing death, drive in a manner dangerous, careless driving and driver touching a portable device.
He has been bailed to appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates' Court today,
