A man will appear in court tomorrow charged over the alleged stabbing of another man in Sydney's south-west this morning.
About 4am (Saturday 28 May 2022), emergency services responded to a home in Torrington Avenue, Sefton, after reports of a stabbing.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 63-year-old man suffering stab wounds to nis neck. He was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious condition.
Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command arrested a 58-year-old man at the home.
A crime scene was established, which has been forensically examined.
Police have been informed the men – who are known to each other – both live at the premises.
The younger man was taken to Bankstown Police Station where he was charged with wound with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court tomorrow (Sunday 29 May 2022).
